Moving the mass (thickest part) of the barrel down to the sweet spot where you typically hit the ball, the Torpedo Bat maximizes the impact on the ball to create more impact. More force equals more power! By then having the end of the barrel taper off quicker, you move the weighted mass closer to your hands, making the bat feel lighter but maximizing your swing.
