I can't say enough good things about the Wood Bat Factory tour! My husband, ten year old grandson and I took the tour on November 1, 2025. The tour was more than we imagined it would be. The tour guide (sorry I can't remember his name) was so personable, informative and a pleasure to be with. We were shown every step of bat making from the huge pieces of tree trunks (still with the bark) entering the factory to the finished bat product. The tour is conducted through the actual factory so you able to see (and hear) the goings on of the processes. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed the tour and we highly recommend it for anyone interested in baseball, wood working or amazing machinery (some of it robotic!). The factory is huge, amazingly clean and completely organized. If you are ever in the Cooperstown, New York area, take the tour! You won't regret it.
Thanks a ton for your review Lou! Glad you all had a good time in the mill. We hope to see you again in the future.
Great tour if you are near the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown (less than 30 minute drive). The tour is appealing to baseball fans to witness the entire process of making wooden baseball bats.
The tour guide, Lupe was fantastic.
Thanks so much! Lupe’s one of the best.:) Glad you enjoyed the tour.
The staff was very informative, professional and extremely knowledgeable of the manufacturing process. The tour within the mill was very educational and communication through the headsets used was perfect. The owner and operator of the mill, and his brother Chris , who gave the tour did a fantastic job and we were blown away by the engineering of the mill. I highly recommend this tour. Great experience. Joey and Judy Sparrow.
Lupe did a great job. This was easily the best factory tour I have taken in many years. Up close and personal, with clear understanding for what makes this factory unique and wonderful
Great tour. My son and I really enjoyed it. Tour guide was knowledgeable and it was cool to see the different stages of manufacturing wood bats.
