    Xylo Logo

Xylo Bats was born from a prayer and a passion for baseball in 2012. Founder, Leland Wetzel, had the idea to build a wood bat for his nephew’s first birthday. Before turning this first bat, Leland prayed that God would give him a passion for making wood bats if it was something He would want him to further pursue, and God did just that.

Leland quickly began building more and more bats to eventually, in 2017, making a few bats for professional ball player, Joe Mauer. After receiving great and constructive feedback from Joe, Leland knew he had something to offer and quickly became a professional level approved bat company.

Xylo works hard to produce the highest quality bats, not only for pro baseball players, but for amateur and youth hitters as well. From their unique way of testing wood billets, to hardening each bat with a deer antler, Xylo understands the importance of keeping quality and performance at the forefront of each step of the bat making process.
