The Xylo Bats X122 Wood Bat is a great choice for all types of hitters. The X122 has a standard style knob, a medium handle (.94"), and an average sized barrel (2.50").

Xylo's pro series is a great choice for game use! Every bat meets all MLB regulations and standards, but just a little less toughness than the Elite Series.

Bat Model Breakdown

Our Xylo models are strategically designed to represent the measurements of the bat. Below explains the layout and meaning of our model numbers:

  • First Symbol (X): This first symbol stands for Xylo, helping the customer know it is a Xylo model
  • Second Symbol: This number represents the style of knob on the bat.
    • 1: Standard-style knob
    • 2: No knob style
    • 3: Large standard-style knob
    • 4: Tapered Knob
  • Third Symbol: This number represents the size of the knob. 1 is a small handle diameter, 2 is a standard-size handle, 3 is a large-size handle
  • Fourth Symbol: This number represents the size of the barrel. 1 is a small barrel diameter, 2 is a standard-size barrel, 3 is a large barrel

X122: Has an average sized handle (.94"), average, standard-style knob (2"), slightly shorter and average sized barrel (2.50”). This is a fairly well-balanced bat and great for contact hitters who still like a slight feel of an end loaded bat.

X332: Has a slightly larger handle (1"), slightly larger standard-style knob (2.125"), with a little bit longer (and slightly narrower) barrel (2.48"). This bat is extremely well-balanced and great for contact hitters that like a larger grip.

X423: Has an average sized handle (.94"), a knob that is slightly larger than the taper (1.75") (has a very smooth knob to taper flow), with a little bit longer Barrel (2.52”). This is a great end-loaded option for power hitters looking for a barrel loaded bat.

X111 (Youth Model): Our youth model offers a smaller handle size (.92”), small standard-style knob (1.75”), and a smaller barrel (2.25”) to create an extremely well-balanced and light option for youth ball players as young as 6 years old.

Whether it's BBCOR, USA Baseball, or USSSA Certification - all one-piece wood bats (except bamboo) are allowed for use - with or without the certification markings. This means every bat in our lineup is considered certified, or rather certification not required. Because every one of the above mentioned standards are designed to make a metal bat respond more like a wood bat.

If the standard is make metal bats respond like wood bats - meaning they take away all the benefits of metal bats(ie: exit velocity), but don't give you back any of the benefits of wood (immediate feedback)... Then why would any serious player use anything but wood? Nothing can provide you the immediate feedback that a wood bat gives, both in terms of sound and feel. Miss the sweet spot? Those stinging hands will tell you so! Plus wood bats don't have a trampolining effect, because they aren't hollow. Wood is the only option for players who want to be their best. No matter who your favorite pro player is, there's one thing that's for sure - he swings a wood bat. You should too.
